Additional Sakata Pictures By Tony Spatafore These pictures are of the USNSGA at Sakata, Japan. They show the Logo at the entrance of the base, pictures of the barracks life, children of the base families, Bluebird Home day at the base with the children checking out the Marine helicopter, and, working on the 60 foot dish. The last set of pictures is visiting day at the Bluebird Home activities day.The last one is of the administraters and children of the Bluebird Home. I don't think that any of us who paid visits to the home will forget the smiles when we arrived. And, when we left Sakata, they were there at the train station with flowers for each of us.
