Story board for the Battle of Midway. The four Japanese Carrier pictures (left side of story board) were donated by two Japanese Naval Officers from the National Intelligence Office, Tokyo, Japan. The American Carriers (right side of board) includes the names of the Radio Intelligence Unit officer and enlisted personnel assigned to the carriers. The display cabinet tells the story of the Battleship Oklahoma band, and the Combat Intelligence Center, Fourteenth Naval District Headquarters, where LCDR Joe Rochefort was in charge. Pictures of Rochefort, LT Tom Dyer and LT Jasper Holmes. Also a picture of YN2 William Trembly, stationed in Melbourne, Australia, who actually decrypted the first message indicating an attack on Midway Island.
