Photos of the fire at Yokosuka, in the wharehouse and shops next to Piedmont Pier. Some of the old timers who
were at CommUnit 35, before the move to Kami Seya, will remember it. Supposedly the fire started at the far end
of the complex in the carpenter shop, with the wind coming in off of the bay it didn't take long to spread.
The firefighters, in addition to base personnel included the Japenese firemen and men drom the HMS BELFAST,
which was in port at the time.
