Biography of Joe, WA6AXE


I was first licensed as a Novice (WV6AXE) back in 1958 (14 yrs old).   Upgraded to WA6AXE in 1959.
Joined the U.S.Navy in May 1962 and retired as a Senior Chief Cryptologic Technician (E-8)
in 1984 with 22 years of service.

Various callsigns that I have held, while in the U.S.Navy are:

DL5GJ (Bremerhaven, Germany) from 1969 thru 1972.
KG6/WA6AXE (Agana, Guam) from 1972 to 1975.
KG6JFZ (Agana, Guam) from 1975 thru 1976.
