To use the CQ DXMarathon Award for CY2012 program: (1) Extract the following files into your C:\ (C drive root) directory: CQDXMarathon_DXB2007_CY2012QSOs.exe DX Marathon Scoresheet-2012.5.xls ExcelInput_yellow.xls (2) YOU MUST have a full copy of the EXCEL program for this to work ok. (3) YOU MUST have the UPDATED PJ's in your Refdata and Logbook mdb files. and YOU MUST also have the UPDATED Z8 in your Refdata and Logbook mdb files. (4) EXECUTE the CQDXMarathon_DXB2007_CY2012QSOs.exe program file. (5) When the program is Done -- the ExcelInput_yellow.xls file will AUTOMATICALLY be executed - opening up your EXCEL program -- initially, there will be a pop-up window seen. Simply answer "Enable Macros". Then, in the Excel programs main window which is open - go to MAIN MENU, Tools, Macro, Macros -- and RUN Macro1 Once the automatic sequencing has taken place - your info will automatically be placed into the DX Marathon Scoresheet-2012.5.xls spreadsheet file. A NEW XLS file - which is NAMED as: mycall_rename_as_per_directions.xls has been written to your C:\ drive ... You now simply need to FILL-IN "all" of your PERSONAL information into the "Submission Information" area of the spreadsheet. Now - you can SAVE the file as SAVE AS .. and BE SURE and NAME the final XLS file - as per the directions on the Spreadsheet and also from the RULES webpage at: http://dxmarathon.com/Rules/2012/2012%20Rules.pdf
