The BOMBE Machine (to break the German Enigma Code Machine) was built in Dayton by the National Cash build the BOMBE Rotors, but nothing has been said about the men who reported to work in the foundry that molded the BOMBE Rotors. Mr. Harold Harris is in some of the pictures, and in the two pictures in whites, he was a MM1. When I met him in 1959 in Todendorf, he was a Chief Radio Electrician-2, and I worked for him for the next 5 years (Todendorf/Rota Spain). At least four of these troops (including Mr. Harris) transferred to Guam in 1946, and that's where they switched over to the communications technician rating. R/ Bill Lockert
